Ashenwave's Terms of Service

-You must be over 18 years old to commission me.
-I reserve the right to reject your request without explanation. The request may eventually be rejected if it doesn't fit the artist.
-I don’t work for free or for exposure.
-The finished artwork will be sent exclusively in digital form.
-Generative AI or NFTs are completely off the table.
*Any ill behaviour will not be tolerated and your commission will be cancelled if it occurs.I WILL NOT DRAW
✖Realistic or hyperrealistic art styles.
✖Racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or otherwise hateful and discriminatory content.
✖NSFW (extremely sexualised men/women, porn, fetishes, loli, shota, extreme gore…)
✖ Furries.
✖ Mechas, complex vehicles with lots of mechanical details (spaceships, ships, cars)
✖Architecturally complex backgrounds (a lot of details or difficult perspective angles)
✖ NFTs or AI related things.PAYMENTS & REFUND POLICY
-Prices are in EURO and payments are made through Paypal via invoice.
-The commission is only started after receiving full payment in advance within 15 days of you receiving the invoice.
-There are NO FULL REFUNDS once I start working on a commission. If proper cause is given during the sketching stage I will refund half payment.
-Full refunds are only available if I didn't start the commission 2 months after the payment (for any reason)
-There will be NO REFUNDS once the commission is completed.Paypal specific:
-If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.
-If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way.
I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.PROCESS & DELIVERY
-If you want me to draw an existing character you must provide good character references (full body, base colors, additional details, etc)
-A limited amount of Work In Progress (WIP) images will be sent to you throughout the entire process. WIP images are sent ONLY for critique.
-You get 3 rounds of changes (revisions) on the commissioned piece included in the price. If you want to correct or do some major change, you must tell me at the sketch stage.
-A fee will be added if you want something changed on the final drawing. The amount of the extra charge depends on the change you want me to make.
-Once the piece is finished you will receive the digital full-resolution image on PNG or TIFF format. Note that there is no physical product.DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
The time it takes to finish your commission varies 1-3 weeks depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece and other work.
If the estimated delivery date changes I will notify you about it, including a new delivery date.COPYRIGHT & USAGE
As the Artist:
-I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
-I retain all copyright over the commissioned artwork.
-I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.
-I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio an in publications such as art books.As the Customer/Commissioner:
-You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels, with credit to the artist.
-You are allowed to use the copyrighted artwork for personal uses only unless agreed otherwise.
-You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes.
-You may NOT make profit from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services...etc)
-You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without the Artist’s consent.
-You may NOT claim the artwork as your own.
-You may NOT use the product on any technology related to blockchain, NFT, cryptocurrencies or future investments in the space.COMMERCIAL USE OF THE ARTWORK
If you want to use my artwork for commercial purposes we must discuss a commercial fee.
